Recently, Vampire Diaries Executive Producer Julie Plec,chatted it up with Hollywood.com again,and dished new,spoiler info for season 4,and it turns out that Elena is going to be very sad after Damon told her to scram. She'll also be upset that she can't be there for Jeremy as he transitions into a vicious vampire hunter. If that wasn't enough,she's also going to feel bad about hurting Stefan too. So,it sounds like Elena is just going to be one unhappy chick for a bit. Julie explained to them, "Elena's mindset is basically a combination of feeling a sense of loss of not being able to be around Damon and also this profound sense of guilt for how much she's hurt Stefan.
