Alec Baldwin was recently involved in an altercation with a photographer from the NY Daily News.
Alec was leaving a New York courthouse after obtaining a marriage license for himself and his fiancee Hilaria Thomas when two photographers from the NY Daily News tried to snap pictures of him. Alec claims he was almost hit by one of the photographer’s, Marcus Santos’, camera and pushed him back in self defense.
The photographers claim that Alec told them to get back, which they did but Alec continued to approach them and started throwing punches at Santos. The other photographer on the scene snapped a picture of Alec and Santos in the middle of their quarrel. After the incident Alec tweeted, ”A ‘photographer’ almost hit me in the face with his camera this morning #allpaparazzishouldbewaterboarded.”
Santos claims that Alec went off in a violent rage, unprovoked by the photographers. When asked what happened, Santos told NY Daily News, “He comes after me, starts shoving and punching me — one time, right in the chin. And then he started shoving me, and pushing me. Then he goes the other way.”
Alec has a reputation for his hot temper; in 2007 Alec left his daughter a voice message on her phone telling her “You are a rude, thoughtless little pig. You don’t have the brains or the decency as a human being” after she neglected to answer his scheduled call.
