As for how Selena is doing, a source tells E! Online's Marc Malkin, "She's sad. It's hard for her."
Break ups are never easy, but for a public couple, it's got to sting a little bit more than your average split because it's all under the microscope.
Still, Sel has been doing her thing, wrapping up the Wizards of Waverly Place reunion, promoting her Kmart clothing line and appearing at Glamour magazine's Women of the Year Awards event, where she was described as "radiant and very happy," Us Magazine reports.
While Selena was in New York for the Glamour event, and Justin was also in town for a concert, they reportedly met at her hotel.
A source tells Life & Style, "I saw Selena go into the hotel around 5:40 p.m. and not even three hours later, Justin went in. I saw him leave around 11 p.m."
New York Daily News' Confidenti@l quotes a source who says Justin wants to get back together with Sel, explaining, "He has been calling and texting her... he's been reaching out to her friends."
The source notes, "He met her at her hotel so they could talk and he later asked her out to dinner." The couple reportedly went out with a group of friends for dinner on Sunday night.
