New Star Trek 2,Into Darkness first 9 minute movie clip to release in December 2012. According to a new report from Collider, Paramount Pictures dropped a press release ,yesterday ,November 14th,revealing that they plan on releasing the first nine minutes of the upcoming sci-fi/action flick "Star Trek 2: Into Darkness" on December 14th,2012. The 9 minute prologue footage will air in theaters ahead of the big "Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" flick. There's still no word on when an actual trailer will be released,but we're sure the first 9 minute clip will appear online shortly after it hits theaters. So, we'll definitely post that. Here's an excerpt from the official press release: "Paramount Pictures will release the first 9 minutes from J.J. Abrams’ eagerly-awaited "STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS" exclusively in IMAX 3D months prior to the film’s official release in May 2013. This first-look at the movie will play in approximately 500 digital IMAX 3D theaters beginning December 14th."
