Radio shock jock Howard Stern has announced that he will return for a second season of NBC’s hit talent show “America’s Got Talent.”
In an announcement on his SIRIUS XM Satellite radio show, Stern said, “I am going back… I have signed up for [my second season] of ‘America’s Got Talent.’” He continued, “I really feel my work is unfinished there. I really do think I can find a superstar act. I really just feel like I can do something great.”
It’s still unknown who will be sitting at the judge’s table next to Stern. “I don’t even know who the other judges are. Of course, I assume Howie (Mandel) will be there, but Sharon (Osbourne) I know is out. I will miss her and that by the way weighed in [on my decision]. I really liked working with Sharon.”
NBC president of alternative and late-night programming, Paul Telegdy, said in a statement, “Howard Stern’s towering presence and opinions on last season’s show as a new judge made a dramatic impact and added a sharper edge to the fascinating developments on stage.
