British comic Russell Brand had a charitable moment Thursday morning and was spotted helping out a group of homeless individuals near his home in West Hollywood.
Brand took it upon himself to treat the homeless people to breakfast at the Newsroom Cafe. Rather than jut shelling out some cash, he offered the individuals a nice hardy breakfast. This is not the first time the actor has extended his generosity to those less fortunate than him.
Just a few weeks ago, the “Get Him to the Greek” star helped another homeless man by offering him a T-Shirt and a drink of water. He even took time out to drive him to an Alcoholics Anonymous class.
Brand happens to be a recovering alcoholic himself and credits yoga and meditation for helping him get over his addictions. The actor also attends weekly AA and Narcotics Anonymous meetings.
