So apparently you can keep a secret in Hollywood! According to People, Green Lantern co-stars Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds tied the knot Sunday evening during a private ceremony at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
The couple, who have been publicly linked for a little less than a year, wed beneath a white tent at the plantation which is located just outside of Charleston. Lively’s close friend Florence Welch (of Florence and the Machine) sang three songs for the newly weds. A DJ spun for the remainder of the evening.
While reps for the actors have yet to comment, People confirmed that a cake aws being driven down from Virginia for the event and Lively’s family had been spotted in town. Lively and Reynolds, who have kept their relationship relatively private over the year, have been spending most of their time together at home after recently purchasing property in Bedford, New York.
This is the 25-year-old Gossip Girl star’s first marriage. Reynolds was previously married to another blonde bombshell, Scarlett Johansson, but the couple divorced in 2010 after two years of marriage.
Lively and Reynolds aren’t the only celebrity couple to successfully keep their nuptials a secret. Actress Carey Mulligan married Marcus Mumford of Mumford & Sons back in April and Natalie Portman did a good job keeping her wedding to Black Swan beau Benjamin Millepied hush hush in August.
