Wynonna Judd’s husband, Michael Moser, has been seriously injured in a motorcycle crash, and Judd is postponing her scheduled concerts in Canada in order to stay by his side.
The pair were riding motorcycles in Deadwood, South Dakota, on August 18 when Moser collided with an oncoming vehicle. The 55-year-old was airlifted to Rapid City Regional Hospital, where he is recovering from serious, but not life-threatening injuries. He was also cited for crossing the center line and not having a license to operate a motorcycle.
Judd was riding ahead of her husband, and was not involved in the accident. “The outpouring of prayer and support from friends, family and fans has been a blessing to both Cactus and I. Cactus is a champion,” Judd said in a statement. “I love him deeply and I will not leave his side.”
The country star and her husband were married in June on Judd’s farm in Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee.
