Jennifer Hudson Said No to “Precious” Role

Jennifer Hudson has dropped a whopping 80 pounds since appearing on Season 3 of American Idol — and gained a Grammy (for her 2008 album Jennifer Hudson), an Oscar (for Dreamgirls), and a baby boy. According to Uptown Magazine, J.Hud’s new memoir reveals the singer turned down the lead role in Precious, a searing film about an overweight 16-year-old girl.
