Barry Levinson Leaves ICM for UTA

EXCLUSIVE

Barry Levinson is leaving International Creative Management for United Talent Agency, TheWrap has learned.

Levinson was previously represented by ICM's John Burnham.

Levinson has been with ICM for more than a decade.

The Oscar-winning director is best known for such films as "Rain Man" (1988),  "Bugsy" (1991), and "Diner" (1984).

Although his recent films like "What Just Happened" (2008) and "Man of the Year" (2006) underwhelmed at the box office, he has had some success on the television.

His 2009 biopic of Jack Kevorkian,  "You Don't Know Jack," received Emmys and critical acclaim.

Next up for Levinson is the long-gestating "Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father," a film about crime boss John Gotti, and the ecological disaster film, "The Bay."

He's also working on a biopic of Phil Spector for HBO.
