Rumours are circulating (thanks to French publications such as Le Figaro and Le Parisien) that Carla Bruni is pregnant. The French magazine closer asked for comment from the Elysee Palace, and a spokesperson would neither confirm nor deny the speculations. It's suspected that Bruni is early into her first term, and celebrities commonly avoid discussing pregnancies until after the first trimester. The first lady and former model, who's now 43, had her first child, Aurelien, in 2001.
