Actor Idris Elba has been added to the cast of Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus.'
Along with Sean Harris and Kate Dickie, they have joined Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender, stated Mail Online .
Many have assumed, but Scott has denied that this film is a prequel to his classic sci-fi classic 'Alien.'
The sites also states that the actors "not only had to sign secrecy clauses, but were only allowed to read the story if they visited Ridley's production office. (One exception was made, when a security courier flew to an actor's foreign location and stood guard for two hours while the screenplay was perused.)
'I was insistent that the script not leak onto the internet, where it gets dissected out of context, which spoils it for everyone,' stated Ridley.
Elba, who will play the Norse God Heimdall in this summer's 'Thor,' is currently shooting 'Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance' with Nicolas Cage, Ciaran Hinds, Violante Placido, Christopher Lambert, and Johnny Whitworth.
That's the sequel to 2007's 'Ghost Rider.'
He received a 2010 Golden Globes nomination for his role as Detective John Luther in the 6-part BBC television show 'Luther.' A second series has been commissioned and will broadcast as two two-hour long specials on BBC One.
